Amy Ou | President
Amy Ou is president and chair of the board of directors of TYCCNE. Amy received a Master’s degree in Economics from Boston University and went on to work at a consulting firm. As an engagement manager, she has more than 9 years’ experience in project life cycle management, project coordination, strategic development, client engagement and data analysis. However, her passion for event planning has led her to pursue what she loves and make a career change in 2016. She currently works as an event manager at ALM Works where she plans various kinds of events including conferences and workshops. Outside of work, Amy enjoys travelling, biking, camping and playing volleyball.
Menghua Rau | Vice President
Graduated from SOAS, University of London, Meng-Hua worked for the Justices of Constitutional Court of Taiwan before moving to Boston. She enjoys outdoor activities, singing and watching movies/ TV series. Meng-Hua hopes to help TYCCNE members fulfill their dreams and plans by providing platforms with abundant useful resources.
Amelie | Event Coordinator
Amelie Cheng acts as an event coordinator of TYCCNE. Amelie attended Peking University through the graduate student exchange program, and then received a law master degree in National Central University in Taiwan. Now she also wants to persuade another master degree in Boston University. She worked as a researcher in the biggest think tank in Taiwan over 3 years. After she immigrated to the State, she started her business life as a real estate agent. The job makes her more like to communicate with other people, this is also why she wants to be a member of TYCCNE. She will use her enthusiasm and talent to engage in this family. Amelie likes to travel, hike, dive and watch movie.
Yafen Kang | Treasurer
Ava Lee| Public Engagement & External Affair
Ava Lee currently is a Senior International Tax Accountant at Liberty Mutual. Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, she was a revenue agent intern at the Large Business and International Division of the Internal Revenue Service, and the tax site coordinator/trainer for the Boston Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Coalition and IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, providing assistance for low- income taxpayers. She earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University and M.S. in Accounting degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and received her LL.B degree from National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan.
Midori Chen | Website Manager
Midori Chen is an amateur singer. She enjoys traveling and photography. While Midori was in Taiwan, she was the president of North Taipei Rotaract in 2009-2010. She has been greatly involved in Rotary Club for 7 years.
