Lisa Kang | President

Lisa Kang is president and chair of the board of directors of TYCCNE.  She is also the vice president of Monte Jade of New England and a steering committee member of the Boston Area SAS Users Group.  Lisa is originally from Taiwan and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Biostatistics from Tulane University.  She has held statistical consulting positions in several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies including Pfizer, Genzyme, GlaxoSmithKline, Eli Lilly and Eisai in the past 10 years.  Currently she works for Vertex as a biostatistician and has published several papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.  In her spare time she enjoys volunteering and has donated her time at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, the Community Learning Center in Cambridge, Tutoring Plus of Cambridge, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Caps for Kids program and at the Project Bread Walk for Hunger.

Ellen Kuo | Vice President

Ellen Kuo is a licensed structural engineer and LEED accredited professional working at Symmes Maini & McKee Associates in Cambridge and has been in the industry for about 4 years.  She received Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of Texas at Austin and Master’s in High Performance Structures from MIT. She believes that as a profession we need to develop an innovative and sustainable mindset and explore applications and techniques that can improve the durability and performance of structures. In addition to being the Vice President of TYCCNE, Ellen is co-chairing Structural Engineers Association of Massachusetts-Young Members Group, an organization committed to alleviating the learning curve for local young engineers in their transition between school and industrial practice while developing a structural profession.

Aone Wang | Vice President

Aone Wang is currently the co-founder of and Flyberry Capital, LLC. He is focus on the corporate strategy and operation setup. After 10 years working experience with Foxconn (Fortune 50 Company  and 2 years startup experience, he built broad connections with international suppliers as well as local venture capital. He would like to dedicate his time working with young professionals to development new business model/technologies which can benefit the society and communities.

Charles Wang | Secretary

Charles Chi-Heng Wang is currently a Principal Software Engineer in Teradyne Inc., a leading automatic testing equipment manufacturing company, since 2002. He is a project technical lead and holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate. He is passionate about software project development and entrepreneurship. Prior to his position in Teradyne Inc., He was a software engineer in divine Inc./eShare Communication since 2000. He was graduated with a M.S. degree in Computer Science from State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1999 and a Bachelor degree in Information Management from National Taiwan University in 1996. He is also a proud father of a lovely 5-year-old girl.

William Chen | Public Engagement & External Affair

William Chen holds a B.S. degree from the University of Utah and M.S. degree from the Johns Hopkins University. He has also been actively involved with the local and professional communities at large through various roles, Professionally, he worked for Ernst & Young and Philips Healthcare and recently joined Palomar Medical as an International Finance Manager in Boston, MA. William’s goal for TYCCNE is to build and promote a network of Taiwanese Generations which will act as a resource for future developments on the community, corporate, national, and international level.
