Last year, our successful blood drive on MIT campus attracted 44 enthusiastic blood donors. This year, five non-profit organizations, TYCCNE, Taiwanese American Professionals Boston (TAP-Boston), Monte Jade of New England (MJNE), Federation of Taiwanese Student Associations in New England (FTSANE), and Boston University Taiwanese Student Association (BUTSA), will work hand-in-hand to host the American Red Cross for a community blood drive in Newton Highlands on May 3rd (Sat).
Thanks to our sponsors, donors will receive a free lunch pack from Cumberland Farms, delicious Taiwanese snacks from Infusions Tea Spa and Yi Soon Bakery, as well as a $5 voucher redeemable at Newton Taiwan Day fair.
This blood drive will be held along with Newton Taiwan Day, a family-friendly fair celebrating Taiwanese culture with parade, performance, and delicious foods. TYCCNE will have our own booth, where guests can find mouthwatering Taiwanese sausages, hard tofu, and sweet tofu pudding. Please come visit us!
We sincerely invite you and your friends to save lives with us and enjoy the fun event. Walk-in donors are welcome, but donors with pre-registration will take priority. Donor eligibility includes: Healthy man or woman, at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 lbs, bringing photo ID.
Time: 11 am – 4 pm, May 3, 2014 (Saturday)
